Unmanageable hair in summer can get tough. With all the humidity, trying to tame your tresses can be close to impossible. In the hot heat, no one wants to use hot tools either.
Here is my favorite way to manage summer locks and keep them looking beachy and beautiful!
What you will need:
1 empty plastic spray bottle
3 tbsp fine sea salt
1 tbsp coconut oil (melted)
1 tbsp hair gel (of your choice) or natural aloe vera gel
1 cup water (the less water, the more potent the mix)

- Mix all the ingredients into the empty spray bottle.
- Wash your hair as normal, but this time when you hop out of the shower, make sure not to brush your hair!
- After the shower let your hair air dry for about 5 minutes. Once your hair starts to frizz make sure to take action.
- After the 5 minutes is up, brush the top of your head to create your normal part, making sure not to go farther than halfway through your hair!
- Spray some of the mix onto the bottom of your hair and scrunch the ends of your hair.
- To decrease the amount of frizz and add some volume, twist your hair tightly into a bun at the bottom of your head. Keeping your part intact.
- After another 5 minutes, release the bun from your head and spray 3 more squirts of the beachy hair mix onto the bottoms of your hair.
- The air will do the rest! Let your hair soak in the spray and watch your beachy waves form!
